Between the Rhine and the Weser

There was a radio magazine on WDR 2 between the Rhine and Weser rivers . It was the first time on 30 April 1950 to the broadcasting FM West of NWDR broadcast and was one of the oldest radio programs in Germany. One of the show's early reporters and editors was Walter Erasmy , who was part of the founding editorial team of the regional news magazine Hier und Heute in 1957 and who later became its editor-in-chief.

From March 2005 to March 2011 the information broadcast was produced in the studio in Dortmund . It ran on weekdays from 3:05 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the target group included professionals on the way home. The broadcast was interrupted by news from all over the world (on the hour) and from the regional studios of the WDR (on the half hour). From January 2013 she was part of the show With WDR 2 in the evening .

The moderators of Between Rhine and Weser Cathrin Brackmann and Heike Knispel (both WDR 4 ) and Kerstin Hermes ( Radio Eins ) have since left the station. With the program reform in 2017, the magazine was discontinued on May 29.
