Heike Reiter

Heike Reiter (born August 4, 1969 ) is a German writer. She writes short stories and novels in the genres of fantasy and detective novels .

life and work

She started writing stories as a child. Her first short story was published in 2000; Numerous publications in anthologies (including by Rowohlt Verlag), in literary magazines (including Freiberger reading books ), on the Internet and on the radio followed.

With Beyond the Guardian Stone , Reiter's first novel in the genre of fantasy was published in 2003. The novel is about a young woman whose journey in and through Brittany is increasingly becoming a journey to herself. With this book Reiter was nominated for the German Fantastic Prize.

So far, four novels have appeared in Reiter's regional crime series Mörderisches Franken (as of 2011).

Heike Reiter is married and lives with her family in Franconia .
