Heikki (music project)
Heikki is a Swedish indie - pop band from Stockholm , with major influences from country and folk . The band was founded in 1999 by the now separated couple Jari Haapalainen ( The Bear Quartet , Hidden Truck ) and Maria Eriksson ( The Concretes ). In 2002 a first self-titled EP was released on the label A West Side Fabrication , followed in 2005 by the debut album Heikki II on Magic Marker .
