The Concretes are a Swedish band from Stockholm , currently consisting of 7 members.

history

The Concretes began as a girls' trio with Victoria Bergsman , Maria Eriksson, and Lisa Milsberg. The band quickly grew to eight members. There are also a number of “Honorary Concretes”, ie honorary members who make music on their albums.

Her song Say Something New was used for the US commercials of the Target Corporation supermarket chain .

The song You Can't Hurry Love is part of the soundtrack to the film Elizabethtown .

The Avalanches released a remix of the song Chico .

Singer Victoria Bergsman left the band in 2006 to embark on a solo career. She started her first project with Taken by Trees .
