Heiko Strohmann (born March 8, 1968 in Rostock ) is a Bremen politician ( CDU ), has been a member of the Bremen Parliament since 1999 and has been the state manager of the CDU Bremen since 2013.

biography

Family, education and work

Straw man grew up in the GDR . After ten years of polytechnic high school , Strohmann followed from 1984 to 1987 vocational training with a high school diploma as a ship mechanic. Despite the successful graduation, he was subsequently refused a university course. After expatriation , he has lived in Bremen since 1989. He has been self-employed since 1990 and founded an association of pretzel bakeries.

Straw man is married and has four daughters.

Strohmann has been a member of the Bremen Parliament since June 28, 1999. He is represented in the budget and finance committee (state and city), auditing committee (state and city) and in the operating committee "Umweltbetrieb Bremen" as well as in the state and city deputation for mobility, construction and urban development. Strohmann is parliamentary group spokesman for transport, urban development and resettlers and deputy chairman of the parliamentary group working group for construction. From 2002 to 2007 he was regional manager of the CDU Bremen, from 2007 to 2013 deputy chairman of the parliamentary group of his party. He is also chairman of the CDU district association west.
