Heiko Ueding

Heiko Ueding (born October 4, 1969 ) is a former German soccer player .

career

Ueding played in the youth of VfB Stuttgart , with whom he was able to win the German B youth championship in 1985/86 . Ueding scored two goals in the final. The then junior national player was considered one of the greatest German young talents. He had offers from several Bundesliga clubs, including Borussia Mönchengladbach , but did not change. Instead, Ueding went to SG Wattenscheid 09 in the 2nd Bundesliga , where he was unable to assert himself in two professional years. He moved to 1. FC Schweinfurt 05 , where he became a regular player, but was relegated to the Bayern League. Ueding returned to professional football again in the 1993/94 season, but rose again to amateur football, this time with Rot-Weiss Essen . Nevertheless, he was able to reach the 1994 DFB Cup final with Essen, in which, however, they lost 3-1 to Werder Bremen . Ueding made a total of 62 appearances in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Ueding later played for SC Verl , SpVg Beckum , Eintracht Nordhorn and Davaria Davensberg .
