The Oberelsäßische Bezirks-Heil- und Pflegeanstalt Rufach was a psychiatric facility in Rouffach (German Rufach), Alsace . It was founded in 1909. The successor institution is now called the Center hospitalier de Rouffach .

The institution changed its name several times:

  • Sanatorium and nursing home in the Upper Alsace region (until 1918)
  • Asile d'Aliénés de Rouffach (1919–1937)
  • Hôpital Psychiatrique de Rouffach (1937–1971)
  • Center Hospitalier Spécialisé de Rouffach (1971–1991)

It was evacuated by the French when the war broke out in 1939. In 1941, the Reich Ministry for Science, Education and National Education established Reich schools for ethnic Germans to prepare South Tyroleans whose parents had opted for Germany to attend German secondary schools.
