Holy mountains

Holy Mountains: An Alpine novel is a homeland novel by Gustav Renker , which was first published in 1921. In 1926 the book was made into a film by Arnold Fanck ( The Holy Mountain ). In 1942 the 3rd edition of the field edition was published by C. Bertelsmann Verlag . The novel was a bestseller in the Third Reich . In 1950 it was newly published by Keyser in Heidelberg.
