Heiligenhaus (Dorweiler)
The listed Heiligenhaus is on the eastern outskirts of Dorweiler in the municipality of Nörvenich in the Düren district , North Rhine-Westphalia .
At the entrance to Pingsheim , in the Lehrer-Geßner-Strasse, there is a little holy house , which was built after the war of 1866 out of gratitude for the happy return of a son of the Wetsch family from the war and consecrated to Our Lady . The figure of Mary originally placed in it has long since disappeared.
It had to be renewed several times. An inscription has been placed under the niche that reads:
O mother,
press those wounds that
your son
felt on the cross
deep into my soul.

The Heiligenhaus was entered on March 8, 1985 in the list of monuments of the municipality of Nörvenich under No. 8.
