The Heim + Handwerk is a public exhibition , by the Society for craft fairs organized (GHM). It takes place every autumn on the grounds of Messe München . The topics of building, furnishing and living are in the foreground of the event. Heim + Handwerk is the largest consumer exhibition in Germany in this area.
history
The first Heim + Handwerk took place in Munich in 1978 . In 2014, 125,000 visitors came to 879 exhibitors from 33 countries. The FOOD & LIFE trade fair will be held at the same time .
Exhibition areas
The portfolio includes sustainable and energy-efficient construction, expansion, refurbishment, renovation and modernization as well as interior design with kitchens, bathrooms, furniture, home accessories and handicrafts. A complementary supporting program offers information and advice on various aspects related to four walls:

Transport links
Heim + Handwerk takes place in six exhibition halls at Messe München. It can be reached via the Messestadt West underground station on the U2 line. The federal motorway 94 passes in the north, to which the exhibition grounds are connected with two motorway exits.
