Heiner Jestrabek

Heiner Jestrabek (born June 11, 1956 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ) is a German non-fiction author , publicist and board member of the Humanist Freethinkers Association of East Württemberg.

Life

From 1987 Jestrabek initiated the organization of a group of free thinkers to form the "German Freethinkers Association Ostwürttemberg eV", initially under the umbrella of the German Freethinkers Association . In 1995 the Association of East Wuerttemberg separated from the umbrella association. In 2014 it was renamed “Humanistic Freethinkers Association East Württemberg” and joined the Humanists of Baden-Württemberg as a regional association, a state association of the Humanist Association of Germany recognized as a public corporation . Jestrabek is the executive chairman of the regional association and a member of the Baden-Württemberg board of the Humanist Association of Germany.

Jestrabek published numerous publications on historical and philosophical topics. He works as a freelance funeral orator for humanistic weddings and name celebrations and is the regional contact of the German Society for Human Dying .

Heiner Jestrabek lives in Heidenheim. He is married with a daughter and a grandson.
