Heinrich Büttgen

Heinrich Büttgen (born April 4, 1821 in Munich , † December 10, 1876 ​​there ) was a German theater actor .

Life

He was the son of the court and cabinet fitter Heinrich Büttgen and should also take up his father's profession. But he was irresistibly driven to art, he took lessons from the veteran of the Munich stage, Ferdinand Lang, and on April 9, 1844 , he took the stage for the first time in Ulm. He had to make his debut that evening in no less than three roles in "Spoilers". However, his position improved later, and his next game was the "Kosinski". After a year he left this engagement and returned to Munich, where he worked as an art eleve at Königl. Court theater was included. On December 23, 1845 he entered this stage for the first time as “Flurschütz” in “Tell”. He remained loyal to this art institution until his death. In 1846 he was appointed court actor. In 1876 he fell seriously ill and had his last appearance on November 20, 1876.
