Heinrich Fuchs (politician)

Heinrich Fuchs (born March 31, 1924 in Eilendorf ; † August 16, 1990 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending primary school , he completed an apprenticeship as a cloth weaver . Following his military service and his imprisonment until November 1946, Fuchs attended a course for weaving at the textile engineering school in Aachen. He was active in the trade union sector and from April 1952 was managing director of the administrative office of the textile and clothing trade union in the Kempen-Krefeld district .

Fuchs became a member of the CDU in 1949. He was represented on numerous party bodies.

From July 24, 1966 to May 27, 1975, Fuchs was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituencies 035 Kempen I and 036 Kempen II.
