Henry IV (Brabant)
Heinrich IV. (* Around 1251; † after 1272) was Duke of Brabant from 1261 to 1267. He was the son of Duke Heinrich III. and Adelheid of Burgundy.
He followed his father as a duke at the age of 10 under his mother's tutelage. Their rule was challenged by their brother-in-law Heinrich I of Hesse and a cousin, Heinrich von Löwen , Lord of Gaesbeek .
Henry IV., The nonsense is said occurred in 1267 from his office in favor of his brother John I return. He became a novice in the Abbey of Saint Bénigne in Dijon (Burgundy), where he made his vows on October 1, 1269. The last testimony from him comes from April 28, 1272.
