Heinrich Küver

Heinrich Küver (born December 10, 1889 in Ihlienworth ; † June 5, 1983 in Steinau (Lower Saxony) ) was a Lower Saxony politician ( DHP / DP ) and a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

After attending primary school , Küver completed the agricultural training school. In 1909 he began his service with the 31st Infantry Regiment in Altona. In the First World War he was a war participant between 1914 and 1918. In 1918 he was taken prisoner by the English and remained there until 1919. After his return in 1920 he became district chairman of the German-Hanoverian Party (DHP). As an opponent of National Socialism, Küver was relieved of all honorary posts after the seizure of power in 1933. After the end of the Second World War he became mayor of Ihlienworth in 1945 . From 1946 he was district chairman of the NLP / DP. Küver was chairman of the Hadeln beekeeping association and the Ihlienworth dairy cooperative. He was also a member of the district church council.

Public offices

Küver became a member of the district council in 1946 and district administrator in 1948. In the first electoral period he was from November 28, 1948 to April 30, 1951 a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament for Heinrich Meyer-Bülkau, who died in June 1948 . In the second electoral term he belonged to the state parliament from April 16, 1953 to May 5, 1955, from March 28, 1951 and from April 16, 1953 in the DP / CDU parliamentary group.
