Heinrich Rösler

Heinrich Rösler (born September 23, 1868 in Heinzendorf , Münsterberg district , † June 12, 1931 in Breslau ) was a German trade unionist and politician ( SPD ).

Life

After attending primary school, Heinrich Rösler completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer and then worked in this profession. He joined the union in 1897 and from June 1899 until his death was employed as a Gauleiter for the bricklayers 'and construction workers' association in Breslau . At the beginning of the First World War he was a member of the supervisory board of the Wroclaw consumer association "Vorwärts".

Rösler joined the SPD and ran for the Reichstag several times from 1903 to 1912 without success . From 1920 to 1921 he was a member of the Prussian state constituent assembly and in December 1924 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1932. He was also a deputy member of the Prussian State Council from 1921 to 1924 .
