Heinrich Rosenbaum

Heinrich Rosenbaum (born September 5, 1930 in Höxter , † April 16, 2016 in Höxter) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After graduating from high school and receiving his Abitur in 1951, Heinrich Rosenbaum completed an apprenticeship in banking and in 1953 passed the clerk's examination. He studied economics at the University of Göttingen and became a graduate economist in 1957. He then obtained his doctorate in 1960 as Dr. rer. pole. Until 1966 he worked as a research assistant at the Agrarian Social Society in Göttingen. Rosenbaum was also a lecturer at the Paderborn University. In 1975 he retired in accordance with the State Legal Status Act.

politics

Heinrich Rosenbaum had been a member of the CDU since 1951. From 1965 to 1973 he was chairman of the Höxter district association and since 1973 a member of the district board. He was a member of the Höxter district council from 1969 to 1970. From 1970 he was councilor of the city of Höxter. In the same year he was elected mayor of the city of Höxter, which he held until 1979.

Heinrich Rosenbaum was from July 25, 1966 to July 25, 1970 and from May 28, 1975 to May 28, 1980 directly elected member of the 6th and 8th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia for the constituency 136 Höxter.
