Heinrich V. zu Stolberg
Count Heinrich zu Stolberg was Heinrich V (* around 1270; † between April 30 and October 21, 1357 ) Bishop of Merseburg .
The son of the father of the same name from the family of the Counts of Stolberg is first mentioned in a document in 1290 as a cathedral student in Würzburg . Since 1293 he was canon there . 1317 is referred to as archdeacon in Würzburg. From 1320 he can be found in the documents as a scholastic in Merseburg. His election as the local bishop and successor of Gebhard von Schrapelau took place in 1341.
