Heinrich VII. (VI.) (* Before 1285; † November 11, 1324 ) was Count of Schwarzburg-Blankenburg from 1285 .

Life

He was the son of Count Heinrich V (IV.) Von Schwarzburg from his marriage to Sophie von Halytsch, daughter of King Daniel Romanowitsch of Galicia .

In 1290 he became lord of Blankenburg, in 1306 lord of 1/2 Arnstadt, Wachsenburg and Stadtilm. 1323 Lord of Saalfeld.

He was the guardian and uncle of Landgrave Friedrich the Serious .

Count Heinrich fell on a train in the Mark Brandenburg in November 1324 and was buried in the Gray Monastery in Berlin.

From his first marriage to Christina von Gleichen, documented in 1292, († after September 18, 1296), daughter of Count Albrecht III. von Gleichen-Tonna (1249–1290) and Cecilie? Esbernsdatter (-), had seven children:

In his second marriage he married Utha (Oda) von Henneberg-Hartenberg, documented in 1331, († April 1, 1346; buried in Arnstadt), widow of Count Heinrich V. von Schwarzburg († before September 19, 1293), daughter of Count Poppo X. von Henneberg-Hartenberg (1286–1349) and Richza von Hohenlohe-Weikersheim (1305–1337), the marriage remained childless.
