Heinz Arendt
Heinz Arendt (born May 16, 1917 in Berlin ; † January 5, 2006 in Unkel ) was a German swimmer who was active in the 1930s. He started for the Berlin club SC Poseidon.
Arendt won a total of five German championships:
In both disciplines he competed at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin with Hans Freese and Otto Przywara . Over 400 m freestyle all three were eliminated in the semifinals. In the 1500 m freestyle, Arendt was the only German participant to reach the final, where he came in 7th and last place.
