Heinz Frank (born June 12, 1928 ) is a former German soccer player who played for VfR Mannheim and FC Bayern Munich in the Oberliga Süd .

Career

Frank, active for VfR Mannheim in the Oberliga Süd until 1953 , switched to league rivals FC Bayern Munich for the 1953/54 season , for whom he scored a goal in eight games. He made his debut for Bayern on August 23, 1953 (2nd matchday) in the 4-0 defeat in the away game against VfB Stuttgart as a midfielder , as well as on September 12, 1953 (5th matchday) in the 2: 6 defeat in the home game against SpVgg Fürth . He scored his only goal on October 18, 1953 (9th matchday) in a 2-1 win in the away game against Viktoria Aschaffenburg with the goal to make it 1-0 in the 20th minute. In the five consecutive game days, Frank was also used as a striker . The 1955/56 season he completed for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in the 2nd Oberliga West , in which he scored four goals in 14 of 30 point games.
