Heinz Langmann

Heinz Langmann , born in the 20th century , is a former German hockey player .

Career

Heinz Langmann comes from Mülheim an der Ruhr . Since he was very interested in hockey, he became a member of the HTC Uhlenhorst Mülheim , one of the leading hockey clubs in the Federal Republic of Germany in the 1950s and 1960s. His performance was so good that he soon became a regular in his club's first team. With the HTC Uhlenhorst he was a total of seven times German champion in field hockey. He and the team succeeded in this for the first time in 1950. This was followed by further wins in the German field hockey championship with Heinz Langmann's participation in the years 1954, 1955, 1857, 1958, 1960 and 1964 for HTC Uhlenhorst.

After the HTC Uhlenhorst Mülheim won the German field hockey championship for the third time in 1955, Federal President Theodor Heuss awarded Heinz Langmann and the other members of the 55 team the silver laurel leaf on October 23, 1955.
