Chapel in Giegenhausen

The chapel in Giegenhausen , a district of the Schweitenkirchen community in the Upper Bavarian district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm , was built in 1886. The chapel at Sankt-Marien-Weg 1 is one of the protected architectural monuments in Bavaria.

The plastered Satteldachbau with three-sided circuit and blechbeschlagenem roof skylights with spire was donated by Alois and Martha buyers.

The remarkable furnishings with baroque figures come mainly from the 17th century.
