Heinz Netta

Heinrich (Heinz) Fritz Netta (born February 24, 1928 in Oer-Erkenschwick ; † March 2, 2002 ) was a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and vocational school, he did military service and four years of imprisonment. After that, Netta was a machine climber at the Ewald colliery .

Since 1949 he was a member of the IG Bergbau und Energie . In 1952 he became a member of the SPD and was active in numerous party committees. B. Chairman of the city association for twenty years.

Heinz Netta was married and had two children.

Member of the state parliament

From July 24, 1966 to May 29, 1985 Netta was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituencies 093 Recklinghausen-Land I and 083 Recklinghausen III .

He was a member of the city council of Oer-Erkenschwick from 1956, and was mayor from 1963 to 1987 .

Honors

In Oer-Erkenschwick the Heinz-Netta-Straße was named after him.
