Heinz Niehus

Heinz Niehus (born July 6, 1945 ) is a German fencer who was German champion in both foil and epee fencing as a junior fencer in 1965.

In 1971 and 1972 he won the German championships with the épée team of FC Tauberbischofsheim . This team made up of Reinhold Behr , Harald Hein , Jürgen Hehn and Elmar Beierstettel and himself won the first silver medal in the European Cup of national champions for FC Tauberbischofsheim in 1972. He was also multiple Bavarian champion and European police champion in epee fencing.
