Heiploeg
Heiploeg BV is a food manufacturer based in Zoutkamp in the Netherlands (province of Groningen) and a group of companies. Mainly seafood and fish are processed. The company has 2500 employees.
The story goes back to 1900. After the company had to file for bankruptcy in 2014, it was taken over by the Dutch group Parlevliet & Van der Plas .
According to its own information, Heiploeg is the market leader in Europe for shrimp from the North Sea.
The group includes the transport company Heitrans International BV , which was founded in 1987. The fleet consists of 31 trailers and 16 tractor units.
