Helen Marten
Helen Marten (* 1985 in Macclesfield ) is a British artist. She deals u. a. with sculptures made from everyday objects. In 2016 she was awarded the Turner Prize .
Life
Marten studied at the Ruskin School of Art at Oxford University (2005–2008) and at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (2004) in London. Her works can be found in New York ( Museum of Modern Art ), Norway, Italy and Germany.
In Germany she is represented by Galerie König.
Helen Marten lives and works in London .
