Helena Fürst - Fighter Out of Passion was a docu-soap that was broadcast by RTL from 2010 . From 2010 to 2013 the program was entitled Helena Fürst - Advocate for the Poor . In mid-August 2015, the station announced that it would no longer continue the program.

Background and content

Helena Fürst first appeared on television in 2008. In the series Mercilessly Just - Social Investigators , produced by Sat.1 at the time , she tried, together with a colleague on behalf of the Offenbach district, to track down those who cheat the state out of social benefits. In the show Helena Fürst - Fighter out of passion , she no longer competes against Hartz IV fraudsters, but against arbitrariness and abuse of authority. As an “advocate for the poor” she wants to show that she can stand up for the unemployed and those in need and that this is her passion. However, she is not a lawyer.

Helena Fürst is a state-certified business economist and worked in a municipal job center after her training.

While Hartz IV cases and welfare recipients were the focus of the program from the first to the third season, the range of topics was expanded with the fourth season and the new subtitle Fighter out of passion .

criticism

A critic of the industry magazine Quotenmeter.de practiced on format similar criticism as at the 2008 produced series. According to him, it is frightening how people are shown and used for a program. Helena Fürst gives some populist gossip and lauches herself.
