Helga Pollak

Helga Pollak (* 1935 in Mährisch-Schönberg , Czechoslovakia ) is a German finance scientist .

Life

After studying at the University of Frankfurt a. M. from 1954 to 1958 did his doctorate there in 1965 and his habilitation in 1971. Afterwards she took a chair in finance at the University of Heidelberg ; in the winter semester 1971/72 she was appointed to the University of Göttingen . Since 1975 she has been a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at the Federal Ministry of Finance ; from 1995 to 1998 as deputy chairwoman, from 1999 to 2002 as chairwoman. Helga Pollak was also a member of the Science Council from 1994 to 1998 . In addition, she was elected Vice President of the University of Göttingen from 1990 to 1992. In 2003 she retired .
