Helge Stjernholm Kragh (born February 13, 1944 ) is a Danish historian of science.

Kragh studied mathematics and physics at the University of Copenhagen and received his PhD from the University of Roskilde in 1981 . He was professor at the University of Aarhus , at the Center for Science Studies (Danish: Center for Videnskabsstudier ). Since 2015 he has been a professor at the University of Copenhagen.

He became known, among other things, through a biography of Paul Dirac . He is particularly concerned with the history of physics from around the mid-19th century, the history of astronomy, the history of cosmology (including relationships with religion) and the history of chemistry.

For 2019, Kragh was awarded the American Physical Society's Abraham Pais Prize .
