The Helmet Rock (from English helmet ' helmet ' ) is a cliff rock off the Pennell coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . At the western end of Robertson Bay it is off Cape Barrow from Flat Island .
The northern group of the Terra Nova Expedition (1910–1913) led by Victor Campbell by British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott named it descriptively after its shape.
