Helmut Hoffmann (comedian)
Helmut Hoffmann (born February 8, 1956 in Betzendorf ) is a German comedian and cabaret artist who became known for his role as the post office worker and average person Hans-Hermann Thielke .
The North German was a student at the Johanneum Lüneburg from 1966 to 1972 . He received his acting training in the early 1990s at the state-recognized vocational school for clown, comedy & theater at TuT Hannover. Around the character of Hans-Hermann Thielke, who the comedian played for the first time in the comedy program Ein Leben für die Post (together with Michael Genähr ), there are now two solo programs by Hoffmann ( Now I'm talking! 2004-2007 and Now or never!, 2008) . The humorist achieved notoriety above all through numerous national television appearances in relevant programs from Quatsch Comedy Club to Midnight Peaks to Do you understand fun? . The NDR also had a fixed, daily column with the comedian, Post von Thielke (2007/2008), in its radio program for a long time . In 2011 he wrote the book "Unfortunately we did not meet you - survival with Deutsche Post".
