Helmut Reinhardt (politician)

Helmut Reinhardt (born December 22, 1921 in Stöcken, Fallingbostel district, Lower Saxony; † October 15, 2000 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Helmut Reinhardt finished high school in 1940 with the Abitur. He was a soldier until 1945. He then attended the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hanover, which he graduated with the state examination in 1947. He worked as a practical veterinarian from 1948 to 1961. He was then a veterinary assessor and official veterinarian. In 1975 he was retired in accordance with the State Legal Status Act. In 1980 he resigned from office according to Section 32 of the Deputies Act (AbgG NW).

politics

Helmut Reinhardt had been a member of the CDU since 1957. From 1973 he became deputy district chairman in Gütersloh. From 1957 to 1961 Reinhardt was district chairman in Fallingbostel and from 1965 to 1968 in Hann. Münden, and from 1969 to 1972 in Halle in Westphalia. He was a member of the council of the municipality of Stöcken from 1956 to 1961. From 1956 to 1961 he was a district council member in Fallingbostel and chairman of the parliamentary group. In 1979 he became a member of the Halle City Council. From 1972 he was a member of the presbytery Halle / Westphalia and from 1973 a member of the board of the church district Halle / Westphalia. Since 1980 he has been a member of the prison advisory board of the Bielefeld prison.

From May 28, 1975 to May 29, 1985, Helmut Reinhardt was directly elected member of the 8th and 9th Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 140 Gütersloh III - Bielefeld-Stadt III and for constituency 104 Gütersloh III.

Honors

In 1986 Reinhardt was awarded the First Class Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
