Helmut Wöginger

Helmut Wöginger (born October 20, 1937 in Neuda ) is a former Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and health insurance employee. From 1987 to 1997 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament .

Life

After elementary school, Wöginger attended a secondary school and then graduated from a commercial school. From 1953 he worked as an employee of the Lower Austrian Regional Health Insurance Fund and from 1965 was active as a local councilor in local politics. Wöginger rose to the position of vice mayor in 1975 and was mayor of Golling an der Erlauf between 1982 and 1996 . He also held functions in the association of community representatives and local associations and represented the SPÖ from December 1, 1987 to November 27, 1997 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.

On November 27, 1997 ( XIV. Legislative period ) he was replaced by Josef Jahrmann as a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament.
