from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Helmuth Kurt Urbantke (* 1940 ) is an Austrian physicist who deals with gravitation theory.

Urbantke received his doctorate from the University of Vienna in 1965 and was a student of Walter Thirring there . Since 1985 he has been an associate professor at the University of Vienna .

In 1967, together with Roman Sexl , he was the author of an early work on particle generation in gravitational fields and quantum field theory in curved spaces .

He is known as a co-author of textbooks on special and general relativity and gravitation theory with Roman Sexl.
