Helvetic youth

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Helvetic Youth is a right-wing extremist organization for people aged 17 to 25, which operates in the environment of the Nationally Oriented Swiss Party (PNOS).

history

The organization was founded in 2004 in the Oberaargau region. One of the founders was the later president of PNOS, Dominic Lüthard .

The Helvetic Youth became best known through a planned attack by some of their members on an anti-racism demonstration in Willisau on October 30, 2004, in which no one was injured, but the demonstration was canceled afterwards. In the course of the investigation, various members found cutting and stabbing weapons, defense sprays, an electric shock device, a high-performance slingshot, a smoke unit, a shotgun and parts of army ammunition. In addition, National Socialist propaganda material was also seized. In 2004 the party tried to attack a May 1st event in Solothurn.

The Helvetic Youth has not appeared in public since 2013. The group's website has also been offline since the end of 2013.

profile

The comradeship defends itself against supposedly left-wing media and schooling, as well as against the supposedly high proportion of foreigners in Switzerland. To this end, it organizes meetings and educational events or distributes leaflets. In addition, the Helvetic Youth Bernese Oberland published a school playground CD . Similar projects are known from Germany.
