The Hendy Hills are a group of up to 1,435 m high and mainly ice-free hills in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . They extend over a length of 1.5 km along the western flank of the Rhone Glacier , where it descends to Lake Bonney in the Taylor Valley .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named it in 1998 after the New Zealand geochemist Chris H. Hendy, who from 1969 was involved in research in Antarctica for many years , including water studies of Lake Bonney.
