Henk Nijhof
Henk Nijhof (born April 8, 1952 ) is a Dutch politician from the GroenLinks party .
Life
After studying to become a teacher, Nijhof worked as a teacher in Hengelo . From 1982 to 1986 he sat on the local city council. In the 1980s Nijhof was a member of the Pacifist Socialist Partij . In 1990 he moved to GroenLinks . From 1994 to 2006 he was an alderman for the city of Hengelo. Nijhof was Chairman of GroenLinks from 2006 to 2012 .
