Henning Heup

Henning Heup (born August 17, 1978 in Bielefeld ) is a German author, actor and rock singer .

Life

Henning Heup studied literature and philosophy in Bielefeld before completing his training as an actor at the Cologne Theater Academy in 2004. This was followed by theater engagements and a large number of film and television productions, including the web series Pietshow, which was nominated for the International Emmy Award . In 2009 he directed the music documentary From A to W - Faster, Higher, Weidner on the Böhse Onkelz founder Stephan Weidner.

In 2012 he played an episode role in the episode Leben Beside the ZDF series Notruf Hafenkante .

Henning Heup and Manuel Meimberg co-creators of the ZDFneo signature series Tempel with Ken Duken in the leading role. As a screenwriter, he is responsible for more than 500 episodes of the RTL series Everything Was Counts and took over the position of chief script author from 2015 to 2016. 

He has been a jury member for the International Emmy Award since 2015.

Henning Heup is also the singer of the metal band "Ewing Oil".
