Henri Vogt

Henri Gustave Vogt (* 1864 ; † 1927 ) was a French mathematician.

Vogt studied at the École normal supérieure and received his doctorate in 1889 (Sur les invariants fondamentaux des équations différentielles linéaires du second ordre). He was professor at the Lycée in Nancy and later professor and director of the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Mechanics at the University of Nancy (then Faculté des Sciences Nancy). He was a member of the Academie de Stanislas in Nancy.

Vogt worked on the French edition of the Encyclopedia of Mathematical Sciences .
