Henry Borges (born April 30, 1983 in Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan visually impaired judoka who participated in Paralympic Games in Athens in 2004 , in Beijing in 2008 and in Rio de Janeiro in 2016 . In 2008 he led the Uruguayan delegation as the flag bearer.

Career

Borges competes in the weight class under 60 kilograms and has already taken part in several competitions in this. In Athens 2004 he played three fights, where he won one and finished 7th. After he was eliminated in the first round in Beijing in 2008, he won two victories in four fights at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and finished 5th at the 2015 Parapan Games , an international championship for disabled athletes from northern and South America, he won the gold medal.
