Henry Christian Rutherford

Henry Christian Rutherford , also Harry Rutherford , (born December 17, 1911 in Reval (Tallinn), † October 26, 1991 in Haywards Heath , West Sussex ) was an author.

Life

Henry Christian Rutherford was the son of Henry Kerr Rutherford (1886–1972), director of Venesta , a partner company of AM Luther AG ( Martin Christian Luther ).

Rutherford married Grace Halliday (born June 29, 1910 in Leeds) in London on May 18, 1936, the daughter of the teacher Frederick Halliday and Grace, b. Halliday.

In 1953 he was co-founder of the New Atlantis Foundation (since 2010 The Mitrinovic Foundation ) in Richmond, (alongside Violet MacDermot, Valerie Cooper, Ellen Mayne, Philip Mairet, David Shillan and Frederick Soddy) and its director from 1957.
