Henry Kenny
Henry Kenny ( September 7, 1913 , † September 25, 1975 ) was an Irish politician and sat from 1954 until his death in the Dáil Éireann , the lower house of the Irish Parliament .
Kenny was elected to the 15th Dáil Éireann in 1954 for the Fine Gael in the Mayo South constituency. From the 1969 elections, he entered the Mayo West constituency . During the 20th Dáil, from March 14, 1973 until his death, Kenny was Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury Secretary.
In the by-elections resulting from his death , his son Enda Kenny was elected to the Dáil Éireann.
