Henry Morton Dunham

Henry Morton Dunham (* 1853 in Brockton / Massachusetts ; † 1929 in Brooklin / Massachusetts) was an American organist and composer.

Dunham studied until 1873 at the Northeast Conservatory of Music and until 1875 at the New England Conservatory with George Whiting and John Knowles Paine . He has worked as an organist in several churches in Boston, was a respected concert organist and taught at the New England Conservatory for almost fifty years. Wallace Goodrich and Everett Truette were among his students . He composed a. a. four organ sonatas, a symphonic poem, two volumes of church music and the piece Aurora for organ and orchestra.
