Henry Westenra (politician)

Henry Westenra (born January 12, 1742 ) was an Irish politician.

Henry Westenra was one of eight children of Warner Westenra and his wife Hester, daughter of Richard Lambart, 4th Earl of Cavan.

Henry Westenra was a member of the Irish House of Commons . His father and Peter Westenra , a first cousin of his grandfather Henry, were members of the lower house of the Parliament of Ireland. He also held the office of Seneschal of the royal estates in Ireland.

On December 1, 1764, he married Harriet Murray, the daughter of Irish MP John Murray. The marriage had four children, two sons and two daughters. His eldest son Warner later also belonged to the Irish House of Commons.
