The publishing group Wertpapier-Mitteilungen, Keppler, Lehmann GmbH & Co. KG ( WM Group ) is a German media company with its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main .
The group is divided into four profit centers :
- Stock exchanges newspaper
- WM data service
- WM seminars
- WM Commercial and Banking Law
The Börsen-Zeitung is the only daily newspaper in Germany that is exclusively geared towards the financial sector.
WM Datenservice is responsible for issuing the German securities identification number ( WKN ) and, as the National Numbering Agency, issuing the International Security Identification Number ( ISIN ) of German issuers, the CFI (Classification of Financial Instruments - ISO 10962 ) and the FISN (Financial Instrument Short Name - ISO 18774) for all types of financial instruments. Since November 2012, WM Datenservice has also been accredited as a registry for the Legal Entity Identifier .
In addition, WM Datenserive is an information service provider and financial data supplier for the international financial industry. This financial data is made available online through the company's website and as a data feed.
WM Seminare has been offering seminars, conferences, courses, events, in-house trainings and workshops on banking and capital market issues since 1985.
