Herbert Walther Prize

The Herbert Walther Prize ( Herbert Walther Award ) has been awarded by the German Physical Society (DPG) and the Optical Society of America (OSA) since 2009 for outstanding achievements in quantum optics and atomic physics and outstanding achievements in the international scientific community. It is named in honor of Herbert Walther . The prize is endowed with 5000 euros.
