Herbert Akroyd Stuart
Herbert Akroyd Stuart (born January 28, 1864 in Halifax ( West Yorkshire ), † February 19, 1927 in Halifax) was an English inventor. Among other things, he registered a patent for a four-stroke hot-bulb engine in London in 1890 .
With his inventions, Stuart competed with the diesel engine , which ultimately prevailed.
