Herbert Eichhorn (art historian)
Herbert Eichhorn (* 1957 in Bad Wurzach ) is a German art historian.
Eichhorn studied art history, modern history and empirical cultural studies. From 1988 to September 2005, Eichhorn was director of the Bietigheim-Bissingen Municipal Gallery . From October 2005 to July 2019, Eichhorn headed the Reutlingen Art Museum with the extensive graphic collection in the Spendhaus . In his 14 years in Reutlingen , Eichorn curated over 50 exhibitions there. Eichhorn gave up his position as museum director in Reutlingen at the end of July 2019 and went into retirement.
