Herbert Kensington-Moir
Herbert "Bertie" Kensington Moir (born June 21, 1899 in London , † April 11, 1961 ) was a British racing driver .
Career in motorsport
Herbert Kensington-Moir was head of the service department at Bentley and one of the Bentley Boys in the 1920s . In 1925 he was a member of the Bentley team at the Le Mans 24-hour race . His team partner was Dudley Benjafield . Because the Bentley pit crew miscounted when filling the tank with fuel through fuel cans, the Bentley 3 liter had to fail at an early stage of the race due to a lack of petrol. He finished eleventh overall in the 1930 RAC Tourist Trophy on a Bentley Blower .
